SUMMER PROGRAMS: PRIVATE TUTORING AND ENRICHMENT

SAT PREPARATION

The success of our SAT/PSAT prep program has established this class as a must-have for college-bound students. Raising scores up to 250 points and helping students score nearly perfect scores, our program assists students in achieving their academic goals. This class completely covers all sections of the exam. Students will learn techniques and strategies to find the answers when they have no idea what to do. The SAT prep coach will personalize the structured program to fit the needs of each member of this semi-private class (maximum 10 students).

With the SAT format change in March 2005, students now face a much more difficult exam, complete with essay writing, algebra 2, and trigonometry. Now students’ collegiate futures partially depend on how well they write, something never seen on the basic SAT before. This class will teach our time proven strategies and methods, as well as a variety of new techniques that cover every aspect of this new test. Jump ahead of the crowd and know the test inside and out before you take it! Choose your own dates, times, & location!

This class offers extensive personalized essay writing coaching for the SAT. Students will both learn the secrets to SAT writing and receive extensive practice and evaluation of their essays from their Educational Advantage SAT writing specialist.

CLASSES

Low student/tutor ratio: Classes will be small group (2-10 students) in order to ensure personalized programs.

Convenience: Citywide classes offered 7 days/week during days and evenings. You choose the schedule and location! We will come toward you!

Private Tutoring: In addition to group classes, private tutoring is also available in all subjects for all ages ($40/hour). All classes may be taken as private sessions.

Classes are split into 2 sessions (Summer Sessions I and II) and offered in short time periods (5 days each) so as not to interrupt family vacations, camps, etc.

Classes are offered separately for high school and middle school students.

Class schedule options:

• Choose Your Own Dates: Students may request schedules (start date, days, times) which match their own convenience (and that of their friends if they form their own group).
• Regularly Scheduled Dates: Students may register for classes already scheduled with set days/times.
